The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
I swear by the mansions of the stars, 1 By the promised Day (of Judgment); 2 and [of] Him who witnesses [all,] and [of] that unto which witness is borne [by Him]! 3 THEY DESTROY [but] themselves, they who would ready a pit 4 Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel, 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 witnessing what they were doing. 7 whom they hated for no other reason than that they believed in God, the Almighty, the Praiseworthy, 8 God to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and God is Witness over everything. 9 Indeed those who troubled the Muslim men and Muslim women, and then did not repent – for them is the punishment of hell, and for them is the punishment of fire. 10 For those who believe and do righteous deeds, will be Gardens; beneath which rivers flow: That is the great Salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires), 11 Surely thy Lord's assault is terrible. 12 Behold, it is He who creates [man] in the first instance, and He [it is who] will bring him forth anew. 13 and He is the Ever Forgiving, the Most Loving 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 the Executor of what He wills. 16 Have you not heard about the stories of the armies 17 Of Firon and Samood? 18 But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial, 19 although Allah surrounds them. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Qur'an. 21 Inscribed in a tablet preserved. 22
