The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the heaven of the constellations! 1 And by the Day promised, 2 And by the Day witnessing and the Day witnessed, 3 slain were the Men of the Pit, 4 of fire fiercely burning [for all who have attained to faith]! 5 When they sat by it, 6 and were themselves witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 And they ill-treated them for no other reason than that they believed in Allah, Exalted in Power, Worthy of all Praise!- 8 Whose kingdom spreads over the heavens and the earth. God is witness over everything. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and women without repenting will suffer the torment of hell and that of the burning fire. 10 Verily those who believed and worked righteous works, theirs shall be Gardens whereunder the rivers flow; that is the supreme achievement. 11 VERILY, thy Sustainer's grip is exceedingly strong! 12 it is He who begins and repeats [His creation], 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 Lord of the Throne, the All-glorious, 15 He does what He intends (or wills). 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 Of Pharaoh and (the tribe of) Thamud? 18 Nay, but those who disbelieve live in denial 19 But God surrounds them from all sides. 20 But this is an honored Qur'an 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
