The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the heaven with its impregnable castles; 1 and [then bethink thyself of] the promised Day, 2 And the witness and the witnessed, 3 may the people be condemned those who tortured (the believers) in ditches 4 Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel, 5 Behold! they sat over against the (fire), 6 and were themselves witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 And they persecuted them for naught save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praiseworthy 8 and the One to whom belongs the heavens and the earth. God is the Witness of all things. 9 Those who persecute (or draw into temptation) the Believers, men and women, and do not turn in repentance, will have the Penalty of Hell: They will have the Penalty of the Burning Fire. 10 Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). That is the great success. 11 Surely thy Lord's assault is terrible. 12 Verily He! He it is who beginneth and repeateth it. 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 – the Lord of the Glorious Throne, 15 Effecter of what He intends. 16 Has the story of the hordes 17 Of Pharaoh and Thamud come to you? 18 The unbelievers are indeed engaged in denying it, calling it a lie, 19 But Allah doth encompass them from behind! 20 What is revealed to you is certainly a glorious Quran 21 (Preserved) on the guarded tablet. 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
