The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By heaven of the constellations, 1 And by oath of the Promised Day. 2 by the Witness and the witnessed, 3 The companions of the pit were killed 4 the fire abounding in fuel, 5 when they were seated over it 6 And they themselves are witnesses to what they were doing to the Muslims! 7 They took revenge on them only because they believed in the All-mighty, the Al-laudable, 8 Who, to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness over everything. 9 Lo! they who persecute believing men and believing women and repent not, theirs verily will be the doom of hell, and theirs the doom of burning. 10 As for those who believed and acted righteously, theirs shall be Gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great triumph. 11 Indeed, the seizing of your Lord is severe. 12 It is He Who creates from the very beginning, and He can restore (life). 13 And He is the Forgiving, and the Loving. 14 Owner of the Throne, the Exalted. 15 Who does as He pleases. 16 Has the story reached you of the hosts, 17 Of Firon and Samood? 18 But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial, 19 While Allah encompasses them from behind. 20 What is revealed to you is certainly a glorious Quran 21 written on a preserved Tablet. 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
