The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By oath of the heaven which contains the constellations. 1 And the promised day, 2 by the Witness and the witnessed, 3 may the people be condemned those who tortured (the believers) in ditches 4 Of fire fuel-fed, 5 while they themselves sat around it 6 And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses. 7 And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy, 8 Him, Whose is the dominion of heavens and the earth. And Allah is over everything a Witness. 9 Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. 10 [But,] verily, they who attain to faith and do righteous deeds shall [in the life to come] have gardens through which running waters flow - that triumph most great! 11 Verily the grip of thine Lord is severe. 12 Surely He it is Who originates and reproduces, 13 And He only is the Oft Forgiving, the Beloved of His bondmen. 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 Doer (without let) of all that He intends. 16 HAS IT ever come within thy ken, the story of the [sinful] hosts 17 Pharaoh and Thamood? 18 But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial, 19 And Allah is after them, has them surrounded. 20 In fact it (what they deny) is the Noble Qur’an. 21 [Inscribed] in a Preserved Slate. 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
