The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the heaven, holding the big stars. 1 By the promised Day (of Judgment); 2 And by the Day witnessing and the Day witnessed, 3 slain were the Men of the Pit, 4 Full of fire fed by faggots, 5 Behold! they sat over against the (fire), 6 And to that which they did to the believers were witnesses. 7 And what did they dislike from the Muslims, except that the Muslims accepted faith in Allah the Most Honourable, the Most Praiseworthy? 8 God to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and God is Witness over everything. 9 Verily, those who put into trial the believing men and believing women (by torturing them and burning them), and then do not turn in repentance, (to Allah), will have the torment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the burning Fire. 10 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – for them are Gardens beneath which rivers flow; this is the great success. 11 Indeed, the seizing of your Lord is severe. 12 it is He who begins and repeats [His creation], 13 and He is the Ever Forgiving, the Most Loving 14 Owner of the Throne, the Exalted. 15 Executor of His own will. 16 Has the story of the armies reached you, 17 [Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 Nay, but those who disbelieve live in denial 19 Allah encompasses them all from behind. 20 This is indeed the glorious Qur'an 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22
