The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the sky and the night comer - 1 And what will explain to thee what the Night-Visitant is?- 2 The star of piercing brightness; 3 [for] no human being has been left unguarded. 4 So let man look - from what is he created. 5 He is created from a water gushing forth. 6 Issuing from (the pelvis) between the backbone and the ribs. 7 He certainly has the power to bring him back to life. 8 On the Day when secrets are disclosed, 9 Then he shall have no power nor any helper. 10 By the Firmament which returns (in its round), 11 by the earth cracking open with new growth. 12 Indeed, the Qur'an is a decisive statement, 13 and it is certainly not a jest. 14 They are devising guile, 15 and I too am devising a guile. 16 So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile. 17
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
