Al-Taareq
The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the heaven and the Morning Star 1 And have you understood what the nightly arriver is? 2 (It is) the Star of piercing brightness;- 3 That over each soul there is a guardian. 4 So let man observe from what he was created. 5 He was created from spurting fluid, 6 issuing from between the loins [of man] and the pelvic arch [of woman]. 7 He certainly has the power to bring him back to life. 8 A day when the secrets will be examined. 9 He will have no strength or helper. 10 By the sky (having rain clouds) which gives rain, again and again. 11 And the earth which splitteth (with the growth of trees and plants) 12 this is indeed a Decisive Word, 13 and is no idle tale. 14 Lo! they plot a plot (against thee, O Muhammad) 15 And I (too) am planning a plan. 16 So leave the unbelievers to themselves; respite them awhile. 17
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
