The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
CONSIDER the heavens and that which comes in the night! 1 Do you know what al-tariq is? 2 (It is) the piercing star. 3 There is no living being but there is a protector over it. 4 Let the human reflect of what he is created. 5 He was created from ejaculated water 6 Issuing from (the pelvis) between the backbone and the ribs. 7 Surely He (the Creator) has the power to bring him back (to life). 8 on the Day when consciences are examined, 9 So man will neither have any strength nor any aide. 10 By oath of the sky from which comes down the rain. 11 And [by] the earth which cracks open, 12 Most surely it is a decisive word, 13 and is not to be taken lightly. 14 Verily they are plotting a plot. 15 And I (too) will make a scheme. 16 So leave the unbelievers to themselves; respite them awhile. 17
God the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
