The Comet (Al-Taareq)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the sky and the night comer - 1 And what will make you to know what At-Tariq (night-comer) is? 2 The star of piercing brightness; 3 That over each soul there is a guardian. 4 So let man consider of what he was created. 5 He is created from a drop emitted- 6 That is issued from between the backs and the ribs. 7 God has all power to resurrect him. 8 on the Day when all secrets will be laid bare, 9 he will have no power, nor anyone to help him. 10 By the sky (having rain clouds) which gives rain, again and again. 11 And the earth which splits (with the growth of trees and plants), 12 this (Qur'an) is surely a decisive Word, 13 and is not to be taken lightly. 14 They are planning a scheme, 15 and I too am devising a guile. 16 So leave the unbelievers to themselves; respite them awhile. 17
