The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the heaven and the night-comer 1 And have you understood what the nightly arriver is? 2 The piercing star! 3 There is no soul which is not guarded (by the two angels who record all of its deeds). 4 Let the human being reflect that from what he has been created. 5 He was created from ejaculated water 6 issuing from between the loins [of man] and the pelvic arch [of woman]. 7 Indeed, Allah, to return him [to life], is Able. 8 upon the day when the secrets are tried, 9 when he will be helpless, with no supporter. 10 By the sky with its returning rain, 11 And the earth which opens up (with verdure), 12 It is surely a decisive utterance; 13 and is not to be taken lightly. 14 Verily they are plotting a plot. 15 and I am devising guile. 16 So respite thou the infidels - respite them gently, 17
Almighty God's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
