Al-Taareq

The Comet (Al-Taareq)

17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

By heaven and the night-star! 1 And what will make you know what the comer by night is? 2 (It is) the Star of piercing brightness;- 3 There is no soul but has a protector over it. 4 Let man consider what he was made of: 5 he has been created out of a seminal fluid 6 That issueth from between the loins and the breast-bones. 7 Surely He (the Creator) has the power to bring him back (to life). 8 On a Day whereon secrets shall be out. 9 he will have no power, nor anyone to help him. 10 By the sky which returns [rain] 11 And [by] the earth which cracks open, 12 Behold this is the Word that distinguishes (Good from Evil): 13 And is not a matter of amusement. 14 Indeed the disbelievers carry out their evil schemes. 15 but I too plan against them. 16 Therefore respite the unbelievers, and delay them for a while. 17

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
