The Comet (Al-Taareq)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
I CALL TO witness the heavens and the night Star -- 1 How will you comprehend what the night star is? 2 It is the star that pierces through [life's] darkness: 3 There is no soul which is not guarded (by the two angels who record all of its deeds). 4 So let man see from what he is created! 5 He has been created from an ejected drop of fluid 6 Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs: 7 Surely He is able to bring him back 8 The Day when secrets will be put on trial, 9 Then will (man) have no power, nor any helper. 10 By the heaven which giveth the returning rain, 11 and the replenishing earth, 12 Indeed, the Qur'an is a decisive statement, 13 And it is no joke. 14 They are planning a scheme, 15 And I am plotting a plot. 16 Let, then, the deniers of the truth have their will: let them have their will for a little while. 17
True are the words of God the Almighty.
