The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By heaven and the night-star! 1 And what will make you to know what At-Tariq (night-comer) is? 2 - The piercing Star! 3 No human soul but hath a guardian over it. 4 So let man consider from what he is created. 5 He has been created from an ejected drop of fluid 6 which comes out of the loins and ribs. 7 Indeed, Allah, to return him [to life], is Able. 8 A day when the secrets will be examined. 9 He shall have neither strength nor helper. 10 By the heaven with its recurring cycle of rain, 11 And the earth which splits (with the growth of trees and plants), 12 this (Qur'an) is surely a decisive Word, 13 And it is not amusement. 14 They are devising guile, 15 But I am planning a plan. 16 Therefore give them some respite give them some time. 17
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
