The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
I swear by the heaven and the comer by night; 1 - Ah, what will tell thee what the Morning Star is! 2 It is the shining star -- 3 No soul is there but hath over it a watcher. 4 Let man consider what he was made of: 5 He has been created from an ejected drop of fluid 6 issuing from between the loins [of man] and the pelvic arch [of woman]. 7 Indeed, Allah, to return him [to life], is Able. 8 On the day when all secrets will be made public, 9 Then man will have no power or any helper. 10 So I call to witness the rain-producing sky, 11 and the replenishing earth, 12 Indeed the Qur’an is a decisive Word. 13 And it is not a thing for amusement. 14 They are planning a scheme, 15 and I am devising guile. 16 So bear with unbelievers with patience, and give them respite for a while. 17
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
