Al-Taareq

The Comet (Al-Taareq)

17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the heavens and al-tariq. 1 And what can make you know what is the night comer? 2 - The piercing Star! 3 [for] no human being has been left unguarded. 4 Let the human being reflect that from what he has been created. 5 He is created from a water gushing forth. 6 which comes out of the loins and ribs. 7 Lo! He verily is Able to return him (unto life) 8 on the Day when consciences are examined, 9 and he shall have no strength, no helper. 10 By the rotating heavens 11 and by the earth ever bursting with verdure, 12 the Quran is the final word, 13 not a flippant jest. 14 Lo! they plot a plot (against thee, O Muhammad) 15 And I secretly plan. 16 So give a respite to the disbelievers. Deal thou gently with them for a while. 17

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
