The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the sky and the night comer - 1 And what shall teach thee what is the night-star? 2 It is the shining star -- 3 There is no soul but that it has over it a protector. 4 So let man consider from what he is created. 5 He was created from a fluid, ejected, 6 Issuing from (the pelvis) between the backbone and the ribs. 7 Indeed, Allah, to return him [to life], is Able. 8 On the day when hidden thoughts shall be searched out. 9 Then he shall have no power nor any helper. 10 By the heaven which returneth, 11 by the earth cracking open with new growth. 12 Indeed the Qur’an is a decisive Word. 13 And it is no joke. 14 Indeed, they are planning a plan, 15 And I am plotting a plot. 16 Let, then, the deniers of the truth have their will: let them have their will for a little while. 17
God the Almighty always says the truth.
