Al-Taareq

The Comet (Al-Taareq)

17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

By the heaven and the Morning Star 1 And what shall teach thee what is the night-star? 2 The very brightly shining star! 3 There is not a soul but over it is a keeper. 4 Let the human being reflect that from what he has been created. 5 he has been created out of a seminal fluid 6 Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs. 7 Verily, (Allah) is Able to bring him back (to life)! 8 The Day that (all) things secret will be tested, 9 and [man] will have neither strength nor helper! 10 By the sky with its returning rain, 11 and the earth, bursting forth with plants! 12 It is surely a decisive utterance; 13 And it is not a thing for amusement. 14 Surely they will make a scheme, 15 and so am I: 16 So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile. 17

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
