The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the sky, and by the nightly comer! 1 And what can make you know what is the night comer? 2 The very brightly shining star! 3 That over each soul there is a guardian. 4 LET MAN, then, observe out of what he has been created: 5 He is created from a water gushing forth. 6 issuing between the loins and the breast-bones. 7 Surely He is able to bring him back 8 On the day when hidden thoughts shall be searched out. 9 and [man] will have neither strength nor helper! 10 By the Firmament which returns (in its round), 11 And the earth which splitteth (with the growth of trees and plants) 12 BEHOLD, this [divine writ] is indeed a word that distinguishes between truth and falsehood, 13 and is not to be taken lightly. 14 Lo! they plot a plot (against thee, O Muhammad) 15 But I am planning a plan. 16 So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile. 17
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
