The Comet (Al-Taareq)

17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the heavens and al-tariq. 1 And what shall teach thee what is the night-star? 2 It is the piercing star. 3 There is no soul but that it has over it a protector. 4 So man must consider from what he has been created. 5 He is created of water pouring forth, 6 issuing between the loins and the breast-bones. 7 Verily, (Allah) is Able to bring him back (to life)! 8 A day when the secrets will be examined. 9 Then will he have no might nor any helper. 10 By the sky with its returning rain, 11 by the earth cracking open with new growth. 12 the Quran is the final word, 13 And it is not a frivolity. 14 Behold, they [who refuse to accept it] devise many a false argument [to disprove its truth]; 15 And I am planning a scheme. 16 so bear with those who deny the truth, and let them be for a little while. 17

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
