In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heaven, and the night-visitor, 1 And what could make thee conceive what it is that comes in the night? 2 It is the piercing star - 3 No soul is there but hath over it a watcher. 4 So let man consider of what he is created: 5 Created from a gushing fluid. 6 issuing between the loins and the breast-bones. 7 Indeed, Allah, to return him [to life], is Able. 8 The Day when all the secrets (deeds, prayers, fasting, etc.) will be examined (as to their truth). 9 and he shall have no strength, no helper. 10 By the Firmament which returns (in its round), 11 by earth splitting with verdure, 12 surely it is a decisive word; 13 It is no pleasantry. 14 Verily, they are but plotting a plot (against you O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)). 15 And I secretly plan. 16 Give respite to the disbelievers and leave them alone for a while. 17
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
