Al-A'alaa

The All High (Al-A'alaa)

19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 who created and shaped, 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
