Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
