The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
