The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
