The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
