The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
