The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
