The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.
