The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
