The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
