The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
