The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
