The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
