Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
