The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
