The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 who created and shaped, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
