The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
