The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 who has created and shaped, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
