▼ 87 The All High
Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
