The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
