The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
