The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
