The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
