The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.
