The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 He who fears will mind, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
