The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 He who purifies himself, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
