Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
