The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.
