The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
